This illustration captures Mother in contemplation - a sadness in her being. Daisies reach for the sun on one side as some wilt on the other. There is always hope.

About the Book
I was commissioned to illustrate 'Our Brave Hearts: Wise words for Mothers' by Jacqueline Kelly. A little gift book - it is a collection of reflective essays that explore identity, grief and resilience along with affirmations to help mothers reconnect with themselves. Jacqueline is a psychotherapist and life coach.
